3. I wonder, how are you affected by this 50% deal? Do you also lose some profit because of it or does steam shoulder all of it?

4. we lose. it would be awesome if steam absorbed all the costs of sales :D But no portal ever does that.

5. There’d be no incentive to ever not be on sale if Valve absorbed the loss.
