Space Battle 3001 is a top down space shootemup that pits your space rocket in battle against endless waves of alien spaceships, ranging from tiny rocketships to huge flying saucers with lightning guns and missiles. Space Battle 3001 has no levels, although you can pause the game at any time, its one long blastathon from start to finish. Destroyed ships leave behind powerups that boost your shields, double your fire rate, give extra weapons or even extra lives.
