How to - normal maps with v ray?

Postby N3MES1S » Sun Sep 27, 2015 4:22 am

So, i started to look into the modding procedures. I find that i dont have a clue how to render normal maps with vray (sketchup). Can it be done someway with photoshop? if not, how to build a normal map from the base sprite??

Oh well.. i figured it out just looking around right after i posted the question lol.

Well, i post here how to do it just in case someone miss it: In the VRAY options tab called "VFB channels" (yup, i missed it for some reason lol), in the selectable list you can select/unselect what channels do you want to get in the render. As easy as that.. go figure..

having a job has allowed me to understand why Archduke Astro has no time to work on his mods
