The game crashes every time I download a challenge. When I start the game again, the challenge shows as downloaded. If I try to play it, it crashes again.

Game crashes every time I try to download a challenge.
Re: Game crashes every time I try to download a challenge.
I guess I'm not going to get any help here. It does it even after I delete game files through Steam and re-download it.
Re: Game crashes every time I try to download a challenge.
Hi, I'll get the linux guy to take a look, sorry for missing this thread...
Re: Game crashes every time I try to download a challenge.
Ok... Is this the case for every challenge or just a specific one? Have you managed to download the list of challenges ok (I assume you must have) and also managed to see the thumbnail for the challenge?
Is there content inside
~/.local/share/GratuitousSpaceBattles2/web/challenges/
Or is that folder empty?
It *might* just be a corrupt challenge, or one that has been deleted and your copy of the game does not realize its no longer there (It should handle that and show you a pop-up message about it).

Re: Game crashes every time I try to download a challenge.
Right...we think this is fixed in steam. Was it a steam copy? other builds are being done now...
Re: Game crashes every time I try to download a challenge.
Thanks a lot for the replies. This is the case for every challenge. It crashes during download, but the challenge shows up as having been downloaded when I restart. If I try to load a downloaded challenge it crashes again. I can download the list of challenges and see the thumbnails.
I deleted the contents of the challenges folder and everything seems to work. I guess deleting game data through Steam doesn't take care of that. Thanks.
