Hey, that sounds like a great challenge!!! Post your 4 frigates (and put the challenge number here) and tell everybody to try and beat them with 1 cruiser. You should get some interesting post-backs (especially if you ask for them)!!

I'd love to try the four frigates out.

Yep, I have been very skeptical of how those players amassed such high scores. I was too. Until, Matt the Merciless showed us that pure GSB with no mods or cheating could do more than you think. Now I have not done better than say 50,000 on Orion Ambush, but my 2 million score on Veil is pure GSB. ...

Well if you wanted to get really funky, you could display the ships in their deployment layout. Take a screen shot of every ship (generic shot, 1 Panther, 1 Tiger, etc...), and based on their saved deployment in the database arrange them in HTML(floating CSS or other techniques) so that they appear ...

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: Well that depends on what you mean by 'right on top of you'. You should see 'shockwave' in the damage message if another ships explosion is hurting you.

Oh, yeah. The order 'Last Stand' works great. Fast frigates no longer retreat making them targets for further attacks, thus acting as shields to their still gunned comrades (who are doing the shooting).
