yeah, Union is due soon.

Is there anyway we can get an update? have there been any problems or is it fluff generation/content?

Just wanted to say. I recently aquired a laptop and stuck my Impulse GSB on it and as it was seperate from my main DT GSB I wanted to look at some mods. Having installed the GSB add-ons I chose this mod as it had some cool looking ships with some BIG weapons. I have'nt unlocked the vanilla stuff yet...

red shirt crew pods FTW

Weapons module similar to the fighter mine but launches boarding missiles.

new crew pods with security detachments to decreas chance of modules being destroyed/ship taken over

with the amount of expansions I feel it will be time soon to release a full version type product, at a much lower cost than the original game + seperate expansions, i.e. at expected full retail price now that the game is much bigger better etc. This will hook new players in without the daunting aspe...

nahh.

I know where yr going with this, but it would further detract from the MAIN EVEN, which is the battle itself, I already spend 2/3 of my time on the construction page.

Although charicter Admirals to add would be nice (for the campaign)

i think you can do one of the options .. retaliate against ships attacking target or some such.

Getting fighter squadrons to protect other squadrons is a must, via the escort orders this could increase bomber survivability.

no chance, this is merely a cunning/unintentional exploit. of course, the counter would be to arrange formation using speed of ships and formation orders to go concave/crecent shaped with a decoy/tank in the middle. that'll be cool to see. I'd love to see proper fixed formations working in this game...
