Pressure Groups mod

Ok, here is a small optional modification to the pressure group and assasination sytem, made by me. It adds a new terrorist organisation, the Anarchist International. It is based on Liberal voter group support. The Anarchists can assasinate you if you piss off Liberals much, although i tried to make t...

Re: Pressure Groups

Thanks !

And how about the chances of the group actually doing something? What does the "threat level" value mean ?

In the particular attacks files there are values named MinSize, MinCost, and MinStrength set as requirements, on what basis they are calculated for the particular groups ?

Re: Pressure Groups

I have a question regarding modding the pressure groups and their actions - what do the entries in pressuregroups.csv mean exactly ? "recruit treshold","join_approval","leave_approval","militancy","threat level". Also, when modding specific attacks o...

Re: Modding new Voter Types

I just thought that the new autorun scripting system might be a good way to mitigate the "too-low starting support" flaw mentioned by some (the fact that too often you get very low poll values like 18.49% voters at the start of the game, while they should reasonably be over 50 percent just...

Re: Modding new Voter Types

Hi, would it be possible to add some kind of slider to the interface to allow an unlimited amount of new Voter Groups to be added ? If it would be too hard for you to do at this time, maybe include at least the option to add 6 new voter groups ,not 3. I think it is a big difference in case of voter ...

Re: Some help please

You can edit csv files with Notepad, although it may be uncomfortable sometimes.

Re: Some help please

You do not have to use Excel, notepad will suffice. Csv files are simply like text files with records separated by commas.

Re: Policy Effect change proposals, and your thoughts

Cliff, could you add sliders to the policy implement window in the next patch ? Now it looks like if you have too much policies of a certain kind added to game (Public Services for example) the part of them does not show up on the screen at all ,unless you implement enough policies to get them back ...

Re: Anybone want to test some political capital changes?

I played a few times with the new option on now. (using an un-modded version of the game) As for my first thoughts on it - i feel the difference in gameplay is rather small, i still use the same strategy to win, at least playing on the average difficulty. I will try now how it affects the game on lo...

Inertia

Hi! Would it be possible to remove the upper cap on possible inertia of a policy effect in the game in the next patch ? I tried to create a Fusion Power Research policy, but to do this i need to place much more inertia to the effect than 32. I think other policies on the "long-run" side wo...

Re: How are events selected?

Hi, i am currently preparing a big mod and i have more specific question about events: Can they have values higher than 1.0 (the modding tool shows 1.0 as maximum) and what happens when the sum of modifiers is higher than 1.0, does this have any effect in the game? Also, what happens if several even...

Re: Suffrage Age?

Ok, i modified the votertypes.csv file by disabling the overriden joins in _All_ group and setting its default memebership to 0.85, i also changed its name from Evryone to All Voters. Next, i added "_All_,1.0" modifier after every other voter group modifiers. It now seems to work ok. There...

Re: Suffrage Age?

Maybe it would be worth trying (if it is possible ?) to change the default membership percentage value of the Everyone group in the VoterTypes.csv file from 1 (100%) to ,say, 0.9 . Then lowering the suffrage age could increase the membership back to 100 percent. I think it would be ideal to remove t...

Re: Change Fonts

It does not work, if you change the currency in the mission file into anything else than dollar, euro or pound, it defaults in the game back to dollar.
